The exemption only for current season exams | Tamil Nadu
The Government of Tamil Nadu has set up a High-Level Committee to look into the current situation of conducting undergraduate and postgraduate courses for students pursuing Arts and Science undergraduate, engineering, and various technical degrees in Tamil Nadu. The Committee recommended that the exam cannot be held due to coronavirus infection.
In the interest of the students, under the guidance of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), marks will be awarded to
- First and second-year undergraduate students in Arts and Science and postgraduate students in various technical bachelor's degrees.
- For MCA students, first-, second- and third-year students in undergraduate engineering, and first-year students in postgraduate engineering, as well as M.C.A. Chief Minister ordered that first and second-year students be exempted from the examination for this season only and allowed to proceed to the next academic year.
- Chief Minister directed the Department of Higher Education to issue a detailed order in this regard.
